"Wahey! It's May! With its two bank holiday Mondays, it's a month that can be good for morale if nothing else.

In this spring month, I hope you feel a sense of renewal and revival both physically and spiritually. May the simple things give you a lift and inspire some springtime happiness, despite the world's forcing nature. May peace reign in you and, one day, the world too.

"It's mid January, and the year has got off to a start that's for sure. Good? Bad? I suppose that's a matter of perspective and circumstance.

I hope the start of your year has been a smooth and blessed one. If it's been a rough one then I hope you know the presence of the divine in your struggles and that things improve soon. The world's a worrying place at the moment. I hope you find hope and peace in faith, and courage to be kind and do the right thing where you can.

As I've been working Metal Methodist for a while now this might not be a surprise but.....
So my own personal spiritual path has wound its way back to Methodism. Full circle seeing as it's where this all started at Sunday school. Happened over a year ago but wanted to see how it went before posting about it.
It is something that is coming through a lot in my poetry so at some point you might see it and I didn't want anyone thinking I was writing about something that I didn't believe in, if you know what I mean.
I know I haven't post much poetry on here but there is plenty coming in one form or another and I wanted to be honest and upfront about it now.
Especially as some of you got to know me during my more pagan days 😊

As 2025 draws to a close I would like to wish you all a happy New year's eve and a healthy and happy 2026.

Thank you to everyone who picked up a copy of my debut book, I never imagined it would sell the number that it did and your support means a lot.

There will be more from me in print in 2026 if all goes to plan.
