As our summer reading challenge draws to an end,
Let's take some time to reflect and spend
Some time on remembering all we have read
And what an exciting adventure we've led.
Bookstart Bear has enjoyed his time,
Reading to the Beat and making new rhyme
He's excited for the next challenge to come his way
But that's a secret (Book Quest) for another day 🤫

So don't forget to visit your local library to collect your final Summer Reading Challenge prizes! The challenge finishes on Sunday 13th September.

But don't be sad, we've got a secret Book Quest available for all kids aged 5-14

Some exceptionally crafting was done - from making your own tambourines and guitars, or rockstar glasses and K-pop wands or music mobiles and festivals flower crowns and bracelets.

While our all our events at City Library for Read to the Beat are now over, you still have time to complete this year’s summer reading challenge and earn your medal! 🏅

School Leavers! Come along between 1pm and 6pm on Weds 26 August for some TOP advice from local colleges, and skills organisations. There will even be interview techniques from a local employer from 3pm. These are drop in sessions, so just turn up. We have local colleges and skills organisations on hand to ensure your NEXT STEPS are the right ones!
