Resin table wizard Gary Bullock steals the show again! At this point, Gary isn’t making tables. He’s making mirrors with legs 😍
✨ NOW THIS is how you get a table finish that looks like GLASS. ✨
Gary, our wonderful table artist over at , has absolutely smashed it again. Just LOOK at this table. 😍
For this beauty, Gary used Apex Deep Cast for the main pour, before finishing with Cure Pro for that next-level, crystal-clear, high-gloss finish.
And Gary absolutely NAILS a few things every single time, so steal these tips for your next big resin pour 👇
✨ SANDING = A BETTER CANVAS FOR YOUR NEXT LAYER
With Apex resins, you don’t necessarily need to sand between every pour but for ultimate sucess, and a few extra mins, it's worth doing.
And when your surface is beautifully flat, light can reflect more evenly.... which helps give you that gorgeous, pristine, glass-like finish.
✨ KEEP IT DARK WHILE IT CURES
This is such a good tip, particularly when you’re working on a big, precious piece like this.
Gary keeps his work in a dark room while the resin is curing.
It keeps the piece protected from unnecessary UV/light exposure during that important curing stage....not essential, but an easy peasy extra measure that we can all do to assist the cure....particularly useful when you’ve spent hours creating a table with precious materials embedded inside.
✨ FINISH STRONG
Deep Cast for that beautiful depth and clarity, followed by Cure Pro when you want to take the final surface to another level.
That SHINE. 🤌
Honestly, Gary… what an absolute showstopper.
Who else would be terrified to actually put anything on this table once it was finished?! 😂✨
Well STOP that thought right now.....it's Cure Pro....it's fine 😍
