More than just a singalong 🎭

This photo sums up so much of what Sing Musicals Sing is all about.

I created SMS to be a choir that is fun, welcoming and relaxed — but also one where members get proper musical support and direction each week.

That means we don’t simply sing along to backing tracks. We learn the songs well, build harmonies, grow in confidence and create something really exciting together. The result is a lovely balance of fun, friendship and musical quality.

You do *not* need to be an experienced singer to join us, and there is *no audition*.

If you love musical theatre, Disney and singing with a fab group of people, I’d love to welcome you in September.

Sabrina has brought so much warmth, energy and sparkle to Sing People Sing this year — and we’re absolutely delighted that she’s just as excited about Sing Musicals Sing! ❤️

This is what Monday nights should feel like. ✨

A room full of voices, laughter, brilliant musical-theatre songs and people throwing themselves into every harmony, every expression and every gloriously dramatic moment.

Monday’s rehearsal had such a special atmosphere, with 12 wonderful visitors joining our regular SMS singers and becoming part of the room almost instantly.

That’s the magic of Sing Musicals Sing: no audition, no pressure and no need to be the finished article — just a love of musicals and a willingness to have a go. 🎭

We have only **two rehearsals left before our summer break**, making now the perfect time to try SMS and see whether Mondays could become your new favourite night of the week.

Sing Musicals Sing was created to be exactly this — a safe, joyful, no-pressure space for people who love musical theatre, Disney, singing, laughter and a little bit of chaos.

No auditions. No judgement. No need to be perfect.
Just brilliant people, brilliant songs and 90 minutes every Monday to do something that makes you feel good.

Last night we had 12 visitors join us at Sing Musicals Sing… and what a night it was. ✨

There were high kicks, Hamilton, a lot of laughter and the most brilliant Monday night energy.

SMS is for people who love musical theatre, Disney and singing with others — but who might not necessarily think a traditional choir is for them. It’s relaxed, joyful, full of personality, and there’s absolutely no pressure to be perfect.

We’re welcoming new people to come and try us before September, so if you’ve been watching from the sidelines and wondering whether to give it a go, this is your sign.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Sing Musicals Sing 💙🎶

Today we’re sending love to all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and anyone who finds today a little bit emotional too.

We’re especially celebrating the brilliant men in our SMS family — who bring so much warmth, humour and heart to Monday nights.

Here’s to the dads who sing, support, cheer us on… and occasionally know more musical theatre lyrics than they admit 😄
