Those of you that attended Poole Hill last night, who had a great evening drinking beer and listening to the music of Otis Jay, were in fact at the unknown but latterly official last night at the brewery.
Having finally had the rug pulled from under us or more accurately access to the property denied, after a group of men broke into the premises after midnight to change the locks.
The past 12 years and 7 days since I started Southbourne Brewing Limited have been an amazing journey meeting lots of lovely people on the way, staff, musicians and customers. The road has been full of steep learning curves, a few depressions and some amazing peaks.
The party might be over but there is still a bit of cleaning up to do, mainly paperwork but I have been working myself to death at two jobs since April so am looking forward to a rest once the dust settles. Wishing you all the best, Jennifer and Sheldon
P.S. The unsettled bar tabs are extensive so those of you who are on my list owe me a pint! See you around and about!
