'Ferry to the Bounty' is almost ready to frame. It's taken a while, as I had other 'must do' projects running alongside. My thanks to Damian at for his assistance. Looking forward to my next visit.
Keen eyes will spot a cat in the painting. Although we live on the opposite side of the river, our Tabby regularly crosses the bridge .... we know because of the tracker on his collar. That's one way of getting himself in the picture.

Such a good and varied first autumn weekend. Worked on an almost finished secret commission. Discovered my grandson is a crack shot at Emmett & Stone Open Day. Ferry to the Bounty painting called me back to the studio for more attention. Oh and H decided I needed a new hat.

Visited exhibition of oil paintings by Richard Grinter. Exciting, expressive work created en plein air Marlow, London and Venice. Good also to meet up with friends old and new.

Yesterday family and I crossed over to The Bounty . G&Ts delish looking out over the river. Today in studio prepping a new canvas....using the viewpoint from the riverbank directly opposite to the Bounty. Wondering what fun it would be to cross by the little ferryboat next time 😀🚣 so that'll be the 'story' for the painting 😊
