08/06/2026

On Wednesday 10th June Boreham Art circle will meet in the village hall. At this session we will be starting with the yearly AGM - how can we be half way through 2026 and having to hold this. The session will run from 1.30-4.00, as usual with a break for tea/coffee and of course biscuits. The AGM will only take a short while and we will then be able to enjoy what we all like doing best ‘Art’. Why not come along and see what we do, we are a friendly group of mixed abilities. Please contact Cheryl Cook on 01245467787 if you are interested. All details are on our page👩‍🎨

A great time was had by all at the last couple of art sessions. On the 13th May the group were lucky to have Carol Massey run a watercolour landscape workshop. Carol’s expertise and talent really played off and the group produced some excellent paintings. On the 27th May the subject for the session was ‘Jane Austin’. Some members chose to work on other subjects and again some great work was achieved. 🧑🏻‍🎨

A great time was had by all at the last art session on the 11th March. We were very lucky to have a watercolour workshop run by Sue Spiers and the subject was ‘Garden Flowers’. This really was a challenge for a lot of us and Sue said we had chosen one of the most difficult subjects to paint. Sue tutored us through the session and we produced a painting full of colour🎨
