Meet Our Lecturers: Creative Media & Esports

Kyle - Creative Media & Esports Lecturer for Creative Media L2 and T-Level, Esports Level 2 & 3.

Kyle, the newest member of the team, specialising in Media & Performance. Kyle is creative and explorative in media production working in front of the camera and behind it. As an Alumni of Salford University, Kyle has progressed in to the industry by gaining featured roles on programmes such as Cilla & Coronation Street. With 20+ years of industry experience Kyle is looking to pass on his knowledge to learners at the college within Creative Media & Esports. Kyle has extensive knowledge of the Esports arena and what it takes to succeed in the industry.

Having worked for various companies in the UK, such as BBC, ITV and 4, he has a great understanding of the media business from a variety of different directions. Having worked as an actor, producer and script writer, Kyle is versatile in his skills allowing him to support students of all creative backgrounds and interests- covering both creative media and esports.

⭐️Our Progressions to Higher Education! ⭐️

As our leaving students prepare for their next steps into the creative industry, their destinations start to filter through to us on where they’re heading. This year we’ve had a large number of our students progressing to Higher Education.

Erin Foley, an enthusiast for fashion, interior and digital content, explored Gen Z genres and subcultures inspired by music and fast fashions, along side her interest in subtle themes such as nature and movement. This allowed her to find her niche within the current market, which has support her passion and infinitely her progression.

Erin was also highly successful in building experiences with companies including that would prepare her for industry.

As our leaving students prepare for their next steps into the creative industry, their destinations start to filter through to us on where they’re heading. This year we’ve had a large number of our students progressing to Higher Education.

Imaan Syeda Mehdi, an artist dedicated to progressing further with her studies into higher education has successfully achieved their place on their desired course, Interior Architecture. Imaan, a lover for exploring digital and sustainable impacts on societal factors in current day to day lives, has explored areas of interior, digital and fine art.

Max Young, an all round artist who explores all mediums in the development of their projects, has found a love for SFX, costume design, character design having had a huge passion for events such as Comic Con. Max has explored great skills in digital illustration, fashion construction and character creation.

Iman Simri has always had an interest in architecture, but always pushed herself to explore further pathways including 3D sculpture and Fashion Design. Within her FMP Iman explored sustainability within Greater Manchester and the impact of this on the current climate we live in.

Kian Higham is a digital artist who specialises in graphics. Having a particular interested in industrial architecture and the thriving music scene in Greater Manchester, Kian explored the importance of poster advertisements and the impact it has on these events within the area.

Ashleigh Hobson, a creator of comics with a strong skill in digital art, had a strong passion for comic design and creation. Interested in the genre of horror, Ashleigh designed a comic on the paranormal world as a part of their final major project.
