This tattoo had at at least 12 sessions elsewhere before coming to Shattered Ink, which he was fading for a new cover up tattoo.
⚡️
He had 4 sessions from left pic to right pic with me & has had a final session today.
⚡️
A fade down for a new cover up typically take between 1-4 sessions with me but this client has now had a total of 17 sessions.
⚡️
Some Lasers do not have the correct wavelengths or enough power to shattered the ink particles to get a good clearance. This is why you need to choose your establishment wisely !
⚡️
Unfortunately this client has spent way more money than he needed to & way too much time getting to the end point he wanted.

Why are different clinics different prices ?

There are many things to consider as well as cost when choosing clinic.
What Laser do they use ?
Does it have the correct wavelengths to treat your tattoo ?
Are they insured?
Do they offer a consultation & patch test?
How long have they been practicing?
What qualifications/training do they have ?
What environment do they work in ?
Do they have examples of their own work ?
Do they answer your questions satisfactorily?

Prices can widely vary from establishments & below are a few reasons why !

Costs can depend on the type of equipment used, the type & level of training or qualifications or how much experience the operator has.
There are many machines on the market some extremely cheap and some extremely expensive and some that pretend to be extremely expensive to hike up the price per session.
⚡️
I would suggest some research when choosing a clinic - ask what type of Laser & what actual brand name they use & Google it - some machines claim to be better than they are and use brand names very similar to others.
Look at results the clinic has actually achieved.

Ask questions, go for consultations and then you will be able to make an informed decision.
