Marianne Joyce is an emerging singer-songwriter from the edge of Dartmoor whose indie folk music puts a unique lens on the timeless themes of love and grief, as well as exploring south west stories, queerness, and a bit of life’s absurdity.


On this special occasion Give us a Chip will be setting aside the produced backing tracks that she has been using for her more current music to bring you a purely acoustic set harking back to the sound that dominated her music for the majority of her solo career. Expect old time and bluegrass vibes in a repertoire of traditional as well as original material.

But we are going to find out on the 13th June when this magical trio in form of Simon Nicholls, Catherine Beazley and Anna Keirle come together for a conversation all about the weirdness of nature.

And you can ask them your questions, about their work, hopeful climate solutions and maybe Ponds, Poo and Seaweed. Go on – dare you!
