Not every child who walks through our studio doors will go on to have a career in dance — and that’s absolutely okay. Because dance is about so much more than performing on a stage.During their time as a dancer, they will learn skills, build memories and develop qualities that will stay with them long after their dancing days are over.
🩰 CONFIDENCE – Learning to believe in themselves, step outside their comfort zone and feel proud of what they can achieve.
💪 DISCIPLINE – Understanding the importance of commitment, practice, patience and hard work.
🤝 TEAMWORK – Learning to work together, support one another, celebrate others and be part of something bigger than themselves.
🌱 RESILIENCE – Learning that mistakes and setbacks are part of growing, and that sometimes you simply have to get back up and try again.
🎨 CREATIVITY & SELF-EXPRESSION – Having the freedom to express emotions, explore their imagination and find their own individuality.
🎯 GOAL SETTING – Learning to set goals, work towards them and experience the incredible feeling of achieving something they once thought was impossible.
❤️ A LOVE OF MOVEMENT – Developing an appreciation for being active, moving their bodies and looking after themselves.
🗣️ COMMUNICATION – Learning how to listen, express themselves, take direction and communicate with others.
⏰ TIME MANAGEMENT – Balancing school, dance, friendships and other commitments while learning the value of being organised.
🙏 RESPECT – For themselves, their teachers, their peers, their space and the commitment that others put into their training.
🧠 EMOTIONAL WELLBEING – Having a safe space to express themselves, release emotions, build self-esteem and simply be themselves.

At Studio 96 Dance & Acro Academy, we don’t just teach steps, routines and skills.
We nurture children.
We watch them grow in confidence, find their voice, overcome challenges, make friendships and become stronger versions of themselves — both inside and outside the studio.
They may not all become professional dancers…
But the person they become because of dance can last a lifetime. ❤️
