Delivery Drivers Required

Overview
Our client is looking for reliable, customer focused delivery drivers that can provide a high level of service to its customers. In return you will receive a fully supported training package, excellent company benefits and competitive salary. There is the possibility to use your own vehicle, if appropriate or leasing a company vehicle including commercial insurance, tyres, wear and tear.
Drivers are gradually eased into full routes, so they feel confident with their daily work load. Working hours: 9 per day. Standard rate pay: £164 (Plus VAT, if VAT Registered) per day on a self employed basis. The client will assist drivers with their self employed basis and billing requirements. Full Tech and App support is given, giving drivers peace of mind and ease off route delivery. Mileage and fuel covered.
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive their parcels quickly, safely, and with a smile. This is a customer-facing role where reliability, time management, and safe driving are essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Collect parcels from the delivery station.
· Load and organise packages into your van efficiently.
· Follow a pre-planned route using a handheld device or app.
· Deliver parcels safely, on time, and to the correct locations.
· Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
· Complete all deliveries and returns accurately.
· Follow all road safety and company guidelines.
Requirements
· Full UK or EU manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and none of the following endorsements (All DD, DR, UT, AC, MS50 or MS60, CD and IN).
· Able to pass a criminal background check, DBS.
· Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
· Good time-management and organisational skills.
· Physically able to handle parcels up to 23kg.
· Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
· Ability to use smartphone apps and navigation tools.
Working Hours
· Shifts are typically 9 hours
· 5 days from 7, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits
· Typical pay: £164 ex VAT per day.
