The Bureau are collaborating with Actual Music to showcase and bring you some amazing musicians and artists and help them on their musical journey!
These two bands draw heavily from post - punk and dance music shouting with high energy songs referencing disillusionment with the modern world. A 7 piece and a Duo with tons of volume and plenty of gadgets and gizmos to create an engaging sonic landscape.
Peer Pleasure
Bad Men, Worse Tunes.
Peer Pleasure are one big Dysfunctional family, founded as a lockdown project and existing as a groupchat long before a band. Featuring a collective of members from the south east of Ireland the band mixes elements of Noise, Blues, Garage and Punk music with an unhealthy Cynicism, Absurdist humour, Parish hall level resent and a healthy dose of Bare Knuckle call outs and other video nasties. The Bands music has received praise from outlets such as So Young Magazine, Hot Press, The Goo and Nialler9 and have been featured on the BBC 6's New Music Fix and Indie Forever. Playing over 150 shows since 2022 everywhere from Pub Backrooms, Theatre Spaces, Belgian Squats and international festivals, Peer Pleasure will play anywhere, anytime and under any conditions.
Dull
Hailing from Lancaster, ‘dull.’ are an experimental duo fusing noise rock, post-punk, and dance
music influences their own unique sound. Drawing on their experiences as DJs, dull. mix
atmospheric soundscapes with harsh blasts of noise and pounding rhythms.
Dull’s first single “Spilling” is set to be released on the 15th of November and has the whole city
brimming with anticipation.
