What an amazing day ❤️

Seeing so many people come together to celebrate Bishop Auckland Pride 2026 was incredible. The support, the atmosphere, the smiles, the conversations and the sense of togetherness made this our best Pride yet.

Pride is powered by people. It’s about standing together, supporting one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome, valued and free to be themselves. Seeing our town come together in such a positive and uplifting way was truly heartwarming.

A huge thank you to our event organisers, Baccanalia and to our supporters, Bishop Auckland Town Council, Hiyed CIC and Bishop Auckland College, who helped make this event possible.

Together, we showed the strength of our community and the power of love, unity and visibility.

We couldn’t be prouder. Thank you. 💜🏳️‍🌈

As we count down to Saturday 13 June, we'd like to say a huge thank you to the organisations that help make Pride possible.

A special thank you to Hiyed CIC , Bishop Auckland Town Council and Bishop Auckland College for their support. Events like this simply couldn't happen without the backing of local organisations that believe in bringing our community together.

Wow what a great night at REEL Cinema 📽️

We packed out the cinema tonight for The Greatest Showman Sing-a-Long as part of our Pride celebrations!

From the first song to the final credits, the atmosphere was incredible (even if some of the singing wasn’t 😂) it was amazing to see so many people letting loose and joining in.

The fun doesn’t stop there see you all on Saturday 13 June at Bishop Auckland College for the main event!

The countdown is on to Bishop Auckland Pride 2026 and we're getting more excited by the day... the weather is looking absolutely glorious too! ☀️

Join us this Saturday for an afternoon of live entertainment, family fun, street food, community stalls and much more.

🪑 Feel free to bring camping chairs or blankets and make yourself comfortable on the college lawns.

🐶 Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

🚗 Free parking is available at St John's School until 7.30pm.

🎟 Entry is just £1 per person on the gate (cash & card accepted). Children enter free.

🍻 Please do not bring alcohol onto the site. We have a fully stocked bar available throughout the event.

Before Bishop Auckland Pride 2026 takes over the town on Saturday 13 June, we're warming up with a special sing-a-long screening of The Greatest Showman at REEL Cinema Bishop Auckland.

Expect plenty of singing and a fantastic atmosphere as we kick off Pride week together.
