Zig Zag! 2026 Tour

Zig Zag! is a non-verbal outdoor duet for all ages (5+). Two performers build a playful world from simple objects — dozens of wooden reels — setting tiny tasks that become big decisions. ⭐ Wow! Fest is Walsall’s free festival of dance, music, outdoor arts, and community celebration as it brings together 2,000 residents for a vibrant weekend of creativity, movement, and connection! ⭐

At the heart of the festival is Walsall Community Hub, where local organisations can meet families, young people, and residents to showcase their work, build new connections and raise awareness of the services and opportunities they offer.

You could be one of the organisations to directly engage with people from across Walsall and the Black Country, whilst being a part of one of the borough’s biggest community events! ❤️ 🎊

We have a limited number of free stallholder spaces available on both days.

📍 Friday 3rd July: 10:00am-5:00pm (Set up from 9:30am)
📍 Saturday 4th July: 11:00am-6:00pm (Set up from 10:30am)

We ask stallholders to be available for the whole day.

Our WOW Fest workshops continue to build momentum with pupils from St Thomas C of E School, who have been developing their creativity and performance skills through a series of engaging sessions with Tori Drew.

In Bolsover, Parade – The Giant Wheel brought together a vibrant community cast led by India-Rose Cox and Natasha Boyes. Working alongside Boza Youth Inc and the local Bolsover Samba Band, participants rehearsed over three weeks before coming together for a spectacular performance at Bolsover Castle on show day. The project celebrated local talent, collaboration, and community spirit, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Meanwhile, in Weston-super-Mare, Parade – The Giant Wheel community cast workshops have been led by Natasha Boyes and Ellie McDonald. The workshops have engaged local community groups of all ages, alongside home-educated young people, providing opportunities to explore movement, performance, and creative expression as participants prepare for upcoming performances.

These projects continue to demonstrate the power of participatory arts to bring people together, build confidence, and create shared experiences across communities.

🌟 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR WOW! Fest 🌟

We’re still looking for brilliant volunteers to join us for WOW! Fest — Walsall Outdoor Wonders, taking place at Walsall Arboretum on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July.

WOW! Fest is a free, family-friendly outdoor arts festival celebrating dance, performance, creativity, community and participation — and we’d love local people to be part of making it happen.

We’re looking for volunteers who are 18+, based locally, and excited about supporting a joyful community event in the heart of Walsall.
Volunteer roles may include welcoming audiences, handing out information, signposting visitors, supporting workshops, registering participants, collecting feedback, helping with donations, keeping an eye on props and generally helping create a warm, safe and fun festival atmosphere.

Volunteer times are:
Friday 3 July: 9am–5.30pm
Saturday 4 July: 10am–6.30pm

You don’t need to be available for the full day — we’d still love to hear from you if you can only support for part of the day.
Travel costs and expenses are provided up to £15 per day.

To register your interest, please contact Kirsten at: [email protected]

Come and be part of something wonderful for Walsall. 💙✨
