Big things are a brewing...

Currently part of the Soup VIII Residency at and the fantastic Artist has kindly stretched me 3 massive canvasses, they are taller than me! Back in my uni days I had the strength and energy to stretch my own canvasses but now not so much. The canvasses are 2m x 1.6m.

It's a bit daunting to start painting something this size but I've got plans on a simmer (sorry about all the Soup puns, they will continue throughout the residency)

'Lionesses'

This painting is going to feature in my upcoming collaborative exhibition called 'Two Lionesses Unite' the project involves myself, a British Israeli Artist and Anisa Mosaiebiniya, an Iranian Artist. The exhibition will be in The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry at the end of June. We chose the venue as Coventry as it's the City of Peace and Reconciliation so it's the perfect place to unite and show work alongside each other.

This painting is a partly distorted portrait of both Artists looking at each other in a white space. Oil on canvas.
