My brother sent me this this morning

🎬 31st Aug 1986 - 40 years yesterday to the day, my first Supporting Artiste ( Extras in those days ) appearance on BBC 1 in The Monocled Mutineer by Alan Bleasedale I was 16 years old when we filmed it at the Black Country Museum
Can’t believe I’m still doing it! I must love it 😂

* although I did do a “Play for today” in 1984 with my school ( unpaid ) so it’s technically my 42nd year in the job 😳😳

Very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Star Wars actor Nick Joseph. Nick was one of the Medal Bearers in the original trilogy Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

I first met Nick a few years ago at a convention, again at the Star Wars Fan Fun Day in May and only spoke to him a few week ago via Facebook

The Star Wars community has lost a great advocate and thoroughly nice chap
My thoughts are with Nick’s wife and family at the very sad time
