Another prop from latest novel ‘Alice with a why’
3 passes on the press for the front image and many more swear words trying to get the type to curve nicely like the lines 🫠 a little bit of masking off for each one on the 3rd layer.
My colleague is a superstar and cut these brass strips to 0.918 for me and anneals them at the school of jewellery university campus so I can bend them with ease.

When my wonderfully talented oldest pal wrote a sequel to Alice in Wonderland, I was eager to make some real life props from it - I mean, what a dreamy genre!
I was even more delighted to find the typeface I’d decided I was going to use was in the Mrs Beetons cookbook from 1913 when I was doing a bit of research.
For any Alice fans - you’ll love this novel, it’s beautifully absurd and nonsensical. OUT NOW!
