Newark flower festival opening Concert
Pure Joy, Passion, and Talent!
โI have just got back from the most absolutely lovely evening, and my heart is completely full and my cockles thoroughly warmed ๐
The community came together for an unforgettable concert to open the flower festival, and the sheer amount of talent on display was breathtaking.
โFrom start to finish, the energy, passion, and joy in the room were infectious.
Here are just a few of the massive highlights from an incredible lineup:
โBarnby Road Academy Choirs & Orchestra: You absolute superstars! The kids were not only phenomenally talented, bringing us amazing numbers like "When I Grow Up", an incredible intro, a standout "Circle of Life", and a brilliant piece from "Moana", but they looked like they were having an absolute blast on stage! The flautist was a total standout. You should all be so very proud.
โEast Midlands Musical Theatre Choir: Bringing the house down with pure magic, including a stunning performance of "Beauty and the Beast". To be fair, all of their other performances were exceptional bradshaw
โSt Mary Magdalene Choir: Led beautifully by Director of Music, Dr. Stephen Bullamore, they gave a truly fantastic and moving performance of "Memories" that absolutely captivated the whole
Place, and the other songs were tremendous.
โBingham & District Choral Society: Treating us to a spectacular rendition of "Oklahoma" that had everyone smiling.. to name just one (I was sat next to them and there was a wonderful vibe coming from them)
โThank you to everyone involved for filling our evening with so much light and community spirit. It was truly something special!
It's also wonderful to see great events on at the church, after the reawakening
