Hello live music lovers! Sorry it's been a little quiet lately - Mike n I've been busy with other projects but we'll be back with a one-off special RamsJam on Saturday 20th September 7:00pm at the St Mary's Church in Billericay High Street.

It'll be a ticketed event and all the money will be going to the Billericay Food Bank who are kindly hosting and helping us organise the event.

More details to follow but for now pop it in your calendars and we'll let you know more ASAP.

Some of our previous players we've already spoken to but If you want to play then drop us a message and we'll do our best to fit you in.

Unfortunately March was the last RamsJam at the Nags Head. We've had 6 truly great months of events at the Nags but regrettably, as with so many venues in recent years, it's a challenge to put on genuine live music and for it to be commercially viable.

We'd like to thank our hosts James and Justine, and of course Linda too, for their support over the last 6 months and we wish them all the very best for the future of our favourite village pub. Long may it continue. We'd happily come back any time.

A massive thanks to all the performers and live music lovers that came along to play or just enjoy. Without you there wouldn't be any live music.

Now, whilst it might have been the last RamsJam at the Nags it won't be the end of RamsJam and Mike and I have plans for something else for you music lovers and we'll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

Well what another great night February’s RamsJam was 😀😀 !!! So much talent and great to see people supporting each other. This month was a record for the number of people playing together for the first time. We also had 4 parent/offspring in bands, which, maybe the youngsters won’t think is cool, but for the oldies it is. Special mention for the youngsters - you are the future of live music and judging by the youngsters we have the future is bright 😀😀. Hope to see you all in March.

A few pics from January, our busiest night yet with a total of 28 different performers 😀 Well done to everyone, there were some very special performances indeed. But it’s not just about the performers it’s about supporting live music too and so a big thanks to everyone that comes along just to enjoy the night. A few pics from the December RamsJam 😀 And what a night it was, probably the best yet 👍 we had an amazing 27 different people taking part. We had young, we had old, we had bold, lol, we had first timers and old timers, lol, and without a doubt we were thoroughly entertained 😀. What an incredible bunch. Well done and thanks to everyone who joined in, thanks to the amazing audience without you it wouldn’t be a show 😀. Wow !!! Last Thursday was a bit special to say the least, and in so many ways - if you were there I’m sure you’d agree 😀😀. Too many special moments to list. Long may the party continue.

Massive thanks to all the performers - some for the first time (at The Nags anyway). We had a great mix of styles, ages and genres. Some stars of the future, who probably don’t even realise yet what a massively important role they play in keeping music live. Thanks too to our more seasoned players who just do it for the buzz. Thanks to The Bad Cadillacs and thanks to the venue The Nags Head, Ramsden Heath a proper pub, with proper beer and proper music 😀😀Lastly thanks to the audience without whom it wouldn’t be the a proper show😂 😀.

Next one is on Thursday 19th Dec, and we already have some more newbies signed up. Hope you can make it, it’s gonna be another special one 😀🎤🎉🍺🎤😎🎼🎹🥁🪕🎸🎷🪈🥂🎻🍻🍺🍻

Better late than never 😀 Here are a few pics from our first RamsJam 😀 what a night it was. In addition to the usual guitars n drums we had flute, sax and a banjo! And a special mention for a couple of stars of the future - Max on bass and Austin on guitar. It’s always such a pleasure to witness talent evolve 😀.
