A bit of a change today, using pastels instead of acrylics and a much wider colour pallete.

Have to say quite enjoyed this. Haven't used pastels since I was around 16 doing GCSE art. Very messy, but good fun!

Normal red, yellow and blue will resume however!

Rarely do I love something I've done, but this one hits the spot for me. I think I'm really getting the hang of my pallete, using the colours to build shape and form without blending, and the scale of this one was completely different too.

A good few hours to complete. But really happy with how it turned out.
