Over the past term there have been so many beautiful pieces of work created during Lizzie's printing workshops and this composition by Helen is one of today's. We'll be showing you more over the coming days.

The children love the colourful work of
John Lowrie Morrison, known as Jolomo, a Scottish contemporary artist, producing expressionist oil paintings of Scottish landscapes.

We often look at his work and learn about colour mixing, in either acrylics or oil pastel.

This week is the last Sunday class until half term, however, we do have a number of half term dates, 29th, 30th & 31st October from 10.00am to 3.30pm or half days, 10.00am to 12.30pm & 1.00pm to 3.30pm.

These two pictures by Lisa are genius!! Her teaching style is insightful as she understands how our brains and what we think we're looking at vary so widely. By dividing the landscape panels into 6 sections, the difference in painting styles are suddenly obvious and are really helpful guides to understanding techniques.
