A group of our singers braved the cold in Berwick to share what we do — and what a job they did. We made quite an impression, and it was wonderful to meet so many people who are interested in joining us next term.

We spent time in the Buttermarket area under the Town Hall, surrounded by a fantastic group of local artisan makers. It was a genuinely supportive atmosphere, with everyone championing each other — exactly the kind of environment where live music thrives.

A particular thank you to Berwick Style and Culture Magazine for filming us and sharing it on Instagram so quickly. It was a pleasure to connect, and we’re very grateful for the support.

To everyone who came along: thank you for the conversations, the encouragement, and the enthusiasm.

And to our singers — you were outstanding. Not just in how you sang, but in how you represented Vivace. Chatting with market-goers, handing out flyers, and creating such a positive, friendly atmosphere… you were brilliant ambassadors in every sense.

If you’re thinking about joining us, we’d love to see you at our next rehearsal, this Monday at 7.30 in Spittal.

In case you haven't heard - next Monday is the first rehearsal for our Summer Show. If you'd like to try us out, come along for free and have a sing with us. We use the Middle Street entrance to the Community Hall in Spittal. We will also be at Berwick Market tomorrow (Saturday) morning, so if you have any questions please come to the front of the Town Hall and have a chat. Gary (MD) and Sue will be there as well as some present members who can give you a good idea what it's like to be in the Company for one of our Shows.
