Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all well.

I haven’t been on Facebook much in the last year or so, but things have been happening behind the scenes. I have been moving away from the felting, because for some reason it now makes me wheeze, sneeze and my eyes get sore!

I have changed the focus of my work, as well as my name (Green was my married name), and I would love it if you would like to follow my new page on here.

There will be posts of new work soon!

Thank you, hope to see you there...

Hello and welcome.
I am a mixed media artist and creative practitioner, mostly working in wire, and paper, and living in a village that once was a base for wireworks, in semi-rural Derbyshire. My current work is site-specific, and I have been involved in multiple site specific residencies and performances.
As a creative practitioner, I run workshops, create art packs, design and install window art for communities, educate, facilitate, inspire, and am available for creative consultation work.
I believe that art is a wonderful tool, not only for self healing and bringing about confidence and exploration, but also for weaving groups and communities together.
I have been practising as Lisa Green Textile Artist since 2006, but have changed my surname recently, and am working in other mediums now, hence the brand new name. I have always been called 'Lise' by friends and family, and it feels more natural to me.
I have 12 years of experience of working in puppet making, and can create characters for theatre, authors, film makers and more. I will be adding more posts soon, to show the work I have made over the last two decades, but for now, hello!

A moment of calm today, before 3 hours of trying to sort out a security issue with our broadband provider, because we apparently had hackers trying to access our connection. With escalated security and fraud team involved, it feels a little better. Kind of brain melting day. I had to report someone who has tried to contact me via every Facebook related app, plus email, so ‘he’ is listed and profiles and numbers taken, in case it’s anything to do with that. If you get anything strange from me, it’s not me. If anyone sees a profile that is supposed to be me please let me know. Thank you. Need more fresh air now! Hope you all had a good day.

Happy Sunday morning lovely people. How you all doing? Sometimes it feels like a week goes by in a blink these days. This last week has sure been ‘full’ and eventful. Some good, and some very disappointing. I don’t feel I have gotten very far this week! I can’t show you what I have been working on, as it’s currently secret, which seems to be the way things are going work wise these days! So here is our boy, sniffing the woods, on the winding path where we can see spring unfolding, just as it does, reassuringly

Love all the lines, light and mono type colours in this scene. Looks like the perfect sledging field too. It was absolutely cheek biting freezing up on the hills today. The hood and lower part of my coat froze!

The setting sun caught the edges of the snow, on the old stone wall, and made it look like fire opals. I love how you can walk somewhere week in, week out, and everything changes with the weather and the light.

Here comes the snow storm.... and it did ❄️ it was so dramatic watching it coming our way. The sky was more blue-grey in tone than on here, the light was beautiful and dramatic.
