Lovely to get a mention in this post about the state of music festivals in the UK. Sadly so many just can't survive. Some are just getting started. We are proud to be hosting our 16th festival this year and ticket sales are looking good. So it seems like the right time to say a big THANK YOU to all those of you who keep coming back year on year, buy Early Bird tickets and make BAAFest such a unique experience. Looking forward to seeing you and lots of newbies in September! 😀

We've had all sorts of ensembles at BAAFest over the years but never a string quartet! This year is going to be different and we can't wait to welcome the Chipchase Quartet based right here in Tynedale! Please check out their page for more information together with lots of fabulous video clips. 😄

Our 2026 line up is now complete! We can't wait to welcome all these wonderful musicians to BAAFest in September. For those of you coming along - you are in for a treat....for those still deciding...tickets still up for grabs. 😉

Back in February we posted a video of our BAAFest Jinglers singing a snippet of our 2026 jingle. They were very good indeed and really captured the essence of it! 👏👏👏
We also promised to share the full length song, which takes a slightly unexpected turn in the middle. 🎶

Seemed like the perfect day for a trip up the valley!...with dog, flyers and stands of course! Great to see so many people out enjoying the sunshine, walking, cycling, running and smiling!! 😃

Congratulations to the The First & Last Brewery, Northumberland on gaining this National Award!...you really do have one incredible brewery here in Bellingham. We love that you keep it all so local too!

Good morning from Bellingham! It's a cracking start 😃
Thanks to everyone who has bought Early Bird tickets!
Numbers are up on last year...hurray!
Weekend tickets can still be bought via the festival website but DAY TICKETS are also now available for Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September.
(Day tickets include the afternoon and evening sessions plus any workshops scheduled on the day).
