We’re delighted to share that the 2026 Ballyscullion Park Book Festival raised £1,550 for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice through ticket sales and a raffle.

The NI Children’s Hospice provides vital care, support and comfort to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets, entered the raffle, donated, volunteered and supported the festival. Your generosity has made a real difference to a wonderful local charity.

After a couple of months off from the Ballyscullion Park Book Festival, we are tentatively starting to make plans for the 2027 instalment 😃

🖼️ The Artisan Market 🖼️

Another year, another fabulous market! The Artisan Market is a huge draw at the Ballyscullion Park Book Festival and we loved seeing attendees browsing the market in between talks and supporting excellent local makers.

From beautiful handmade jewellery, ceramics and chocolate to stunning original art, homeware and woodwork, there was something to catch the eye of every guest.

Delicious food was served by way of handmade sourdough pizza from Tondo Pizza and homemade pies and mouthwatering sides from The Curious Farmer 🥧🍕 Everyone was kept well caffeinated by Buzz n’ Berry and Latte-da☕️

Day 2 of the 2026 Ballyscullion Park Book Festival Day was filled with really interesting talks from AI in medicine with Dr Charlotte Blease to the Bog Body discovered in the peat bogs of Lough Beg with Thomas McErlean. There were sessions on crime writing, poetry readings, memoirs and the shipping forecast as well as the children’s festival events 📚

The festival buzzed with energy from start to finish, featuring a packed programme of inspiring talks, thought-provoking discussions and enthusiastic audience participation.
