This Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to highlight the positive impact that bands and cultural groups can have on people’s lives 💙

Being part of a band is about far more than music. It’s about friendship, support, belonging and giving people a positive focus. Through bands, many people build confidence, widen their support network, learn discipline, celebrate their culture and improve their mental wellbeing.

For young people and adults alike, having somewhere to belong and people to talk to can make a real difference.

At the Belfast Bands Forum, we are proud to support activities that bring communities together, challenge negative stereotypes, and create positive opportunities through music and culture.

If you’re struggling, speak to someone. If you know someone who is struggling, check in on them. A simple conversation can go a long way.

This years booklets is one of our best published to date..
Cost of book is £3 and every penny raised goes back into supporting local charities.🇬🇧
