Fleadh fever is taking hold of the city with just one day to go before Belfast welcomes the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann for the very first time.
We've got an exciting programme of events lined up both inside and outside the venue! 🎶🎻
We're delighted to welcome some familiar faces like Glengormley School of Traditional Music for a daily children's seisún and stop on their city centre trad trail.
Here NI will be screening 2 documentaries as part of their LGBTQIA+ heritage project. Play Make-Believe will present a brand new character The Seanchaí to weave stories for all ages and Anann's Arch will bring creativity through a range of family friendly workshops! Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál host Same But Different a workshop for the Lambeg and Bodhran drums.
We have more music with Smashing Buttons and Stendhal Festival, Electric Reels, The Four Corners Flute Orchestra NI Youth Forum Tunes Translated project, a series of free Families of Ulster recitals and a special performance from the Alzheimer's Society Singing for the Brain group.
Thoughtout August Jim Maginn's Light of Other Days will takeover the exhibition space.
And if all that isn't enough, we're opening up for organic sessions in-between! So bring your instruments or give our baby grand a tickle 🎹🎼
