RIP Simon Carter
Sorry to deliver sad news, I have learnt, via his good friend Chris Congreave, that Simon Carter has sadly passed away.
After retiring & renewing his interest in magic, Chris recommended that Simon join the CMC.
Simon was an active member but soon after passing his CMC audition, he was diagnosed with brain cancer that quickly affected his dexterity & speech.
I know he valued the friendships during his time at CMC & was grateful for everybody’s support & guidance
He lived his dash, RIP Simon Carter.

Another fundraiser for the CMC at last night's Air Ambulance Gala Dinner, held at the fabulous Coombe Abbey Hotel.
The CMC team members performed mix & mingle magic at the drink reception followed by close up table magic through the evening for the guests.
A big thank you to CMC members Martin Mulvaney (who unfortunately had to leave before the photo opportunity), Dean Brindley, Steve Clements, William Poliet & Steven Wright.
Great night & a pleasure working with you guys.

Big thank you to the CMC members, Dean Brindley, Steve Clements, William Poliet & Steven Wright, who volunteered to do Mix & Mingle close up magic at the recent event reception prior to this years Coventry & Warwickshire Business & Community Awards held at the Belgrade Theatre. The gang raised both revenue & the profile of the Coventry Magic Circle.

A great evening, a lot of fun & a pleasure to see the members coming out to play & support the CMC fundraising events.

RIP Michael Richardson.
Sorry to deliver bad news, I have been contacted by his partner Jenny to let me know that Mike passed away today.
Mike was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer in September & was recently admitted into intensive care with pneumonia.
Very sad news, RIP Mike.
