Yesterday Bedford Park Rotary gave a cheque of £6,000 to Impakt for the money raised at the raft race. With Fujifilm's very generous donation & the efforts of all the teams involved the event raised a total of £15,579.63 for charity.
Every team raised money - The top fundraising teams were:
MND (Boughton Lodge) - £2,111 for MND
Bedford Sink-in £1,938.00 for Alzheimer’s Society
UK Truck & Plant - £1,176.44 for BEN (Automotive mental health)
Community dental Services - £1,155 for Cancer research
The Bell - £1,095 for Impakt
The Star, Clapham - £1,040 for Cancer research & Parkinsons UK
