Meet Abigail Parsons, who plays Leticia Blacklock in Agatha Christie's 'A Murder is Announced'.
Leticia Blacklock is the composed mistress of Little Paddocks. Pragmatic and resilient, she is tasked with holding together a household of truly eclectic characters, managing the mounting tensions of Chipping Cleghorn with a steady hand. She is a woman who maintains a perfect veneer of order, even as a dangerous mystery begins to unfold within her home.
Abigail is delighted to be returning to the stage with Mr. Flaherty’s Private Theatricals. Having last appeared with the company in Move Over Mrs. Markham, she is relishing the chance to shift gears from the frantic energy of farce to the taut, atmospheric suspense of a classic Christie thriller. She is thoroughly enjoying the process of bringing such a pivotal character to life alongside this talented cast.

Patrick is thrilled to return for another Mr Flaherty production. Following recent roles that saw him tackling Irish, Welsh, and German accents in My Boy Jack and Dad’s Army; A Murder is Announced provides a refreshing chance to perform in a more natural voice. Meet Theresa Lunn who plays 'Bunny' in Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced'.
Dora "Bunny" Bunner is Miss Blacklock's childhood friend and companion. She is kind-hearted and deeply devoted, but also notoriously scatterbrained, impractical, and prone to conversational slip-ups.
This is Theresa's 5th production with Private Theatricals and she is enjoying playing the role of Bunny opposite a fantastic cast.

The cast of A Murder is Announced have officially taken to the rehearsal room, and the atmosphere is already electric. From sharp timing, to intriguing characters and plenty of twists, it’s clear this is going to be a production full of suspense, drama… and just a touch of mischief.

Meet the Cast
Inspector Craddock is a seasoned Detective Inspector leading the investigation into the mysterious murder, bringing experience, authority, and a no-nonsense approach to the case.
Though initially sceptical of outside interference, he develops a respectful partnership with Miss Marple, recognising the sharp insight behind her observations.

Paul, who plays Inspector Craddock, grew up reading Agatha Christie and counts her among his favourite authors. He is delighted to be bringing this iconic character to life and to be working alongside such a talented cast. Together, they are excited to share this wonderful play with a new audience.
