Blending music, poetry and personal interaction, HERD explores how we search for our voice and our people, and what it takes to stay true to our inner wildness.
Finding our herd. Being heard. In our fast-paced, youth-obsessed world, these ancient stories can remind us of what is really important and that, as the years pass, ‘happily ever after’ may not look quite the way we expected.

The red suits are being brushed off again - it's International Women's Day on the 8th March, and to mark it The Suited Storytellers will be joining forces with the wonderful Tanya Landman performing a double bill of 23 Words and Jane Eyre at on 6th March 7.30pm.

This may look like a simple harmless, maybe even fun hat, but DO NOT be deceived by appearances!
This hat is the cause of great stress and anxiety last week . . . .
It all started on a Saturday lunchtime, people from far and wide from every corner of Barnstaple and beyond had gathered. 66 names had been put in the hat for the famed 30 places at this year's Fringe TheatreFest First the national and international selections were made - 20 places gone.
Next the local selections were made . . . our show HERD was in the hat . . . first, second, third, fourth were all pulled out. Not us, but that is fine, there are still six more to go . . . places five, six, seven, eight are chosen - ok now I am starting to get really worried what if we aren't picked, then what? . . number nine picked - still not f-ing us . . . the last name, the last chance . . .

IT WAS US!!!!

I must have roared so loud with relief and happiness because my throat was sore all the following evening. So, we'll see ya at TheatreFest yay!
