About Fire & Oak

Fire & Oak Designs offer custom pieces of wood-burned art and freelance graphic design services.

Fire & Oak Designs is a small business set up by Courtney Smith, a 21 year old Graphic Design student from Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Courtney first experimented with pyrography in 2016 when studying Graphic Design at Barnsley College, she designed a restaurant logo for her final major project and wanted to burn the logo onto a chopping board using pyrography. This was a success and inspired her to buy her first pyrography kit, and started to experiment more with pyrography, establishing Fire & Oak Designs.

Courtney is now studying towards a degree in Graphic Design at Leeds Beckett University along with the art she does at Fire & Oak Designs.
