It’s with a very heavy heart that I need to share that our shop will be closing on September 26th. This has been an incredibly difficult decision to make, and one I’ve wrestled with for months. Unfortunately, with the consistently low footfall in Bargoed, it’s simply no longer financially viable for us to continue trading here. 😕
Over the past year and a half, this little shop has become so much more than a business. We’ve learned a great deal about running a creative space, met countless lovely people, and built a warm, welcoming hub where makers, customers, and friends gathered, sometimes just to chat about art, share knowledge, admire handmade work, or support one another. Watching this community grow has been one of the greatest joys I’ve experienced in years. 🤩
THANK YOU! to everyone who stepped through our door, supported us, believed in us, and helped make this space feel special, and to the talented vendors who have filled the space with colour and beauty. This isn’t the end of our creative venture - just a change in direction - and I truly hope we’ll continue building something beautiful together in a busier location where handmade creativity can thrive. 🩷
NOTE: It will be business as usual until closing day, and there may even be some fun and treats along the way. We have encouraged our vendors to start bringing in any Halloween and Christmas stock they may have ready over the coming weeks, so pop in and grab a handmade bargain while you still can. 🥰🙃
