Hey Parents and Event Organisers,

Let’s Talk Face Painting Maths… 🤔

A good professional face painter will usually paint around 12-15 children per hour.

That works out at roughly 4-5 minutes per child ….. when it’s done properly.

Those minutes include getting into the chair, choosing a design, painting it, cleaning brushes between each child, the all-important mirror moment, and resetting ready for the next one. Add a wriggly child or a last-minute change of mind and you can see how quickly the time adds up.

If someone claims they can paint 25-30 children an hour, that’s about 2 minutes per child. Unless your face painter has bionic speed and a spare set of arms, that simply isn’t realistic.

That isn’t quality face painting.
That’s rushing children through.
That’s cutting corners on care and hygiene.

And ultimately, it’s the children’s experience that suffers.

You can’t have huge numbers and still have:
• quality designs
• safe hygiene
• calm, happy children

Even superheroes have limits.

So if you’re expecting lots of children at your event, the solution is simple:

👉 Book more time.
👉 Or book more face painters (and we can arrange that for you).

No shortcuts.
No secret powers.
Just maths. 😁🎨
