The spring Flower show, which is for Daffodils, and spring flowers, and our summer show, which is both summer blooms, fruit and veg, craft, home baking, jams & jellies.

Do you have a berry bush in your garden?

Are your blackcurrants, raspberries, gooseberries or other soft fruits looking their best this summer?

Why not enter them in our Summer Flower Show on Saturday 8th August 2026? There are classes for a wide range of fruits, including gooseberries, currants, raspberries, strawberries, cherries and more.

Whether you're a seasoned grower or it's your first time exhibiting, we'd love to see what you've been growing. You might even come away with a prize!

The weather outside may be a little gloomy, but it’s the perfect time to get crafting!

We now have our Industrial and Children’s sections open for anyone who’d like to give it a try this year.

And as the Banffshire Horticultural Association Summer Show celebrates its 190th anniversary, we’re delighted to introduce a special additional section to mark this wonderful milestone.

The Boys Bridge Hall is all set and ready to welcome everyone entering this year’s Summer Show!

Entry Staging Times:
Tonight: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Tomorrow Morning: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Bring along your wonderful entries and help make this year’s show one to remember!

Got fruit bushes in the garden?
Enjoy crafting in the evening?

We’d love to see what you’ve been growing or creating—why not enter it into the show?

Public Viewing:
Doors open at 1:00 PM for the public to come and enjoy the fantastic displays of local talent. Don’t forget to try your luck at the raffle and enjoy a fly cup while you’re here.

We are proud to honour Muriel Rosemary Farquharson, who dedicated 26 years as Show Secretary and Treasurer, and an incredible 52 years as a B.H.A. exhibitor.

The Banffshire Horticultural Pensioners Trophy has now been re-silvered and renamed in her honour as Muriel Farquharson’s Trophy. This special award will be presented each year to the best overall exhibit—with the section changing annually.

For 2025, Muriel’s Trophy will be awarded to the top exhibit in Sewing & Crafts.

This honour comes full circle: Muriel’s mother won the original trophy in 1982 and 1983, and Muriel herself proudly held it from 2011 to 2024.

A fitting tribute to a lifetime of dedication and excellence
