🎭 To Matt Improv Discovery & Luis, thank you for your brilliant set, featuring unforgettable scenes involving egg salad sandwiches.
🦆 To Unbound Theatre, the political chaos of the Duck Duck Goose Party vs. the Come and Get It Party was a joy to be a part of.

🌳🌯 And finally, thank you all for supporting our first ever dive into - The Many Deaths of Rupert.
We may never look at an oak tree… or a burrito… the same way again.

Our second act for Friday's show is of the ever quick witted, Unbound Theatre's very own, Everything Wrong with Politics.

This live comedy panel game sees two teams become the front benches of new political parties – whose names are chosen by the audience! The rivals then compete in a series of improv games – covering everything from scandals to spin doctors – before heading into a general election to see who will be voted into government.

🎉 First Act Announced for our Bucks & Beyond Improv Show this Friday!

Kickstarting the show, we are delighted to welcome Matt + Friend from Improv Discovery

Matt Plus Friend is a two-person improv series featuring a different guest each time. For this edition, Luis Wise joins Matt Sparkes to create an entirely improvised performance shaped in the moment.

Luis Wise is an emerging improviser and actor with Thame Players Theatre. Matt Sparkes is an improv teacher, performer, founder of Improv Discovery in Thame, and Co-Director of the Oxford Improv Festival.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out and got involved in the Improv Lab tonight! It was awesome to see so many new faces, and we had a blast with all the fun scenes.

We saw some incredible jelly miming, a creepy W***y Wonka dictator, and we even got to practice our new format in front of an audience for the very first time. Thankfully, the world was saved all thanks to Rupert! And a special shout-out to those who traveled all the way from Manchester for some Aylesbury comedy fun!
