The Plot
Jenny and Sam have recently moved into their new home and are in the process of renovating it. But something feels frightening and wrong. Very wrong. Over the baby monitor, at 2:22 every night, Jenny hears footsteps around her daughter's cot.
When their friends Lauren and Ben come round for a housewarming dinner, they drink wine, relive their pasts, and argue about the existence of ghosts. They decide to stay up until 2:22, to discover the truth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for four strong actors to convince the audience of the existence of ghosts… or not.
The Characters
● JENNY: Thirties, a young mother and primary-school teacher. Married to Sam.
● LAUREN: Late thirties/forties, Californian, a psychotherapist. Dating Ben.
● BEN: Thirties/forties, London accent, a builder. Dating Lauren.
● SAM: Late thirties/forties, a physics professor and writer. Married to Jenny.

Due to the required secrecy of the plot, full scripts won’t be available until the play is cast.

If cast you will be expected to join the company (£15.00) and pay a Production Fee of £15.00 to help towards the cost of scripts and the provision of teas and coffees at rehearsals.
