🌀spiral up reveal keeps on giving 💧

I’m so thrilled to announce this drop 💧Charlotte .emily.rose1 is joining us with her source of inspiration + knowledge.

“We are WELL BEINGS.

Charlotte is author of the recently launched Irish Times best seller book, “Well-Being - Restoring Divine Flow Through The Wells And Waters Of All Life On Earth: A Return To The Heart’s True Power”.

She has been finding, opening and clearing old wells for over two decades and in recent years, has located over 100 in her home town of Kinsale.
She will be sharings her WELL-th of wisdom on water and the importance of restoring divine flow through our wells and re-membering that we ourselves, are wells of ever flowing water.

We will all unite in a beauty-full water ceremony together with “Unity Water”, which contains drops of water from thousands of wells, springs, lakes, river mouths and snowflakes from all over the Earth.

Please bring a small glass bottle with water gathered at a WELL well near you to add to the Unity Water in the ceremony and our prayer for a restoration of Unity, harmony and divine flow through all life on Earth.”

Charlotte will offer a talk followed by a water ceremony 🌌💧

Get your tickets before they sellout.

🌀🌀Ready for our second reveal for Macha Alive 2026? (Part II) ✨

This will be a collaboration that we are super thrilled about, between two inspiring humans, artists, activists, creators and the list goes on.

Seán Fitzgerald 🌀

“Originally from Cork, artist and author Seán Fitzgerald has been living in the Gaeltacht region of Donegal for the last twenty-plus years.
He can often be found rambling the bogs and hills, or caring for the Dúchas na nDaoine garden, which he co-founded to be a space of well-being for the community.

Seán’s been creating art since the late ‘80s.
It started with a radical zine and punk album covers, that eventually lead to being influenced by Ireland’s nature, mythology and folklore.
He has been featured in various publications and media broadcasts for both his art and writing and his dedication to preserving Irish culture and traditions. With three published books, the most recent title is the much awaited ‘From Shadows to Sunrise: a Journey into the Irish Rituals of the Year’ through Troy Books.”

This will be Seán’s second appearance at Macha Alive, he’s always been so supportive towards the creation of the festival and it is a pleasure to have him again!

Seán + Laurel are presenting
✨PLÁSÓG✨ a short film:

“Plásóg- a sheltered field in which a mare might foal”
(from Thirty-Two Words for a Field by Manchán Magan)

Macha, sovereignty Goddess, whose sacred landscapes are ancient and beautiful.
Nestled throughout are soft wayside places that you could almost imagine a divine mare finding a choice spot to birth her twins.
Plásóg is a short film that contemplates on her story, how it is relevant in these times of polycrisis, and what wisdom we might glean from it.
Otherwordly visuals, storytelling and poetic incantation are knotted together to create a call to action for us to return to the Mother.”

You cannot miss this!

Ready for our second reveal for Macha Alive 2026? ✨
This will be a collaboration that we are super thrilled about, between two inspiring humans, artists, activists, creators and the list goes on.

First let me introduce Lauren Ronan :

Laurel Ronan lives on Turtle Island not too far from Gaeltacht an Oileáin Úir (North American Gaeltacht) but she only has a cúpla focal.
Much of her spare time is invested in mutual aid projects local to her, tending to plants and making medicine, as well as hanging out with her favourite trees.

She is a Pagan and folk magic practitioner, with a longstanding fascination and devotion to Macha.

She is deeply inspired by the stories and landscape of Armagh. Lucky enough to visit the area several times in recent years, a major focus for her is exploring the Emain Macha complex. She’s especially fond of Haughey’s Fort and the magical pool known as the King’s Stables.”

🔥Macha Alive Fest 2026🌀 ‘Fire + the shape of a Dragon in Water’

🎟Tickets now open 🌕 link in bio

There are stories buried in the soil, carried in the currents that flow beneath all that is seen.

Water is the oldest word, the first element—the source of life, wisdom, knowledge, and memory. It holds the remembrance of who we truly are: with this land, and within this world.

Fire is the lifeblood of ancestry, the serpentine force that keeps the heart of the earth beating. Fire clears. Fire transforms. Fire renews.

Join us next November the 7th as we flow with water and dance to the flame of fire, uncovering ancient stories—stories of Emain Macha.

Together, we’ll awaken the memories that have always been waiting beneath the surface.

One day extra to send your proposals for this year's festival.
We are looking to see and hear more from people who have a story to tell!
There are sooo many stories still buried that are calling to come out to the light, if you know anyone who might be holding a message, a story or even a unique experience in relation to Emain Macha, the bodies of water around it and/or about Macha, please email me to:
[email protected]
We've received some interesting projects and would love for the local community to have more involvement, so please share this far and wide 🌱

If you've already sent us an email, I'll get in touch soon :).
Here you have a little video from one of the speakers from last year.
Thank you Caroline for being part of Macha Alive in many ways 🙏🏽

💧🔥Macha Alive 2026🔥💧
Macha Alive is a non-profit, grassroots, one-day festival for those inspired by Macha, Emain Macha, and the Spirit of the Land.
Each year, we gather to immerse ourselves in stories long forgotten, and those still alive—quietly waiting to be remembered by us.

Macha Alive is a meeting place, a renaissance of knowledge and the wisdom of the land.

Through music, visual arts, talks, archaeology, performance, and living connections, we find our way—back to the root🌱
This year marks the completion of a trilogy that began in 2024.
For three years, each gathering has been guided by a theme—and we feel this one will be especially moving… 🥹though for now, it will remain a secret a little while longer.

So… are you inspired in your own work or experience by the heart of Macha, be it land, water, fire, or the stories that rise from them?
If you have an idea, project, or talk you’d like to share with the community, we’d love to hear from you—send your proposal to [email protected].
Deadline: May 13th 🌕
And if there’s someone you’d love to see at Macha Alive, tag them below.

Please share far and wide 🔥
Just keep in mind that the fest is self funded by ticket sales. Up until now we’ve had the support of many to make this happen. We don’t receive any funding (but open to sponsors 🐦✨) all is done for the love of it 🙏🏽

We need these stories to be alive for us and for the ones behind us.
