Woweee!!!! We are officially HUGE fans of Pantoland! 🧚⭐️

We were absolutely blown away by not one, but FOUR incredible shows on Saturday & Sunday (featuring 4 absolutely amazing casts!). Well done everyone. We had the most fun with you all.

Christmas Filmmaking Competition Open to All Children in the UK!

Inspired by Charlie Quirke’s trek, PQA is supporting the family’s mission to spread awareness by launching our own Bringing Hope Home film challenge.

We’re inviting young people aged 6–17, whether they’re PQA students or not, to create a 60–90 second film exploring their hopes and dreams for the future, whether that’s a personal goal, an ambition, or a hope for others and the world around them.

Prizes:

1 Winner: A full year PQA scholarship and a trophy

3 Runner-Ups: PQA merchandise bundle and a trophy

Winning and runner-up films will screen at the PQA Film Festival 2026

All entries will be shared on the YouTube channel

Deadline: Friday 9th January 2026

🎄🌟 Look at our amazing Poppets stars!! 🎄🌟

Yesterday they shared their mini performance of ‘The Lazy Elf’ with all of their friends and family and we were all SO PROUD of them!

We absolutely love giving our youngest members the chance to get up and perform. They showcased such bravery and determination and we were all so impressed.

Shout out to our wonderful Poppets team, Maddie & Hannah, for working with such kindness and fun always! ☺️

Such a beautiful venue to fill with our amazing young people’s voices. They represented our Academy so beautifully.

For the first time ever, PQA’s Summer Film Competition is open for entries on TikTok!

This summer, we’re inviting young creatives to make a 30–60 second film inspired by mindfulness, capturing moments, thoughts, or feelings in the style of a video journal.

🌟 Who can enter?
Open to all young people aged 18 and under, whether you’re a PQA student or not!

🏆 Prizes
🥇 2 Winners – £100 voucher each
🎬 4 Runners-Up – £20 cinema voucher each
✨ All six films will be screened at the PQA Film Festival 2025 (Sheffield or London, this November), with winners receiving their prizes live on stage!
