Our club have had a fantastic weekend at the Area Qualifiers at Auchlishie. There’s been lots of learning and some great memories made with friends having super fun with their wonderful ponies.

Huge thanks must go to all the organisers, supporters and volunteers who ensure these events run. It’s a mammoth effort and we appreciate every part of it! Until next time ☺️

Another fantastic Thursday evening at Howe for our second Summer Show Jumping League, all enjoyed in the beautiful Scottish sunshine! 🌞🐴

Camp 2026 marks the end of an incredible chapter for Glenrothes Pony Club.

It’s difficult to put into words just how much Alison has given to our branch over the years. Being a District Commissioner isn’t just about organising rallies or competitions—it’s about giving up countless evenings, weekends, and holidays, often behind the scenes, to make sure every member has the very best opportunities.

Alison, your dedication, commitment and passion for Glenrothes Pony Club have shaped the experiences of so many young riders. You’ve encouraged beginners taking their very first steps, supported members as they’ve progressed through the years, celebrated their successes, picked them up after disappointments, and always believed in them.

You’ve created memories that will stay with our members and their families for a lifetime. From rallies and camps to competitions, achievements and friendships, your hard work has been at the heart of it all. Many people only see the finished event, but few realise the hours of planning, organising and commitment that happen long before the day arrives.

On behalf of every member, parent, volunteer and instructor—past and present—thank you. Thank you for your leadership, your kindness, your patience and your unwavering commitment to our Pony Club family. Your contribution has been truly remarkable, and Glenrothes Pony Club is stronger because of everything you have done.

As one chapter closes, another begins. We are delighted to welcome Viv Wilson as our new District Commissioner. Viv, we know your passion, enthusiasm and commitment to our branch will help lead Glenrothes Pony Club into an exciting future, and we wish you every success as you take on this role.

Alison, although you’re handing over the reins today, the legacy you’ve built will continue for many years to come. We hope you can now enjoy watching the branch thrive, knowing that you have played such an important part in making it what it is today.

🌟 PC Camp 2026 🌟

What an incredible three days we’ve had! Our members made lifelong memories, set new goals and achieved so much across flatwork, dressage, showjumping, working hunter, handy pony and cross-country.

This was one of the biggest camps we’ve ever run, and thanks to our amazing DCs, Alison and Viv, everything ran so smoothly from start to finish.

From day one, our members were divided into four coloured teams to compete for the coveted Camp Cup. Points were awarded for immaculate tack and turnout, sparkling clean tack, beautifully mucked out stables, plenty of bedding, fresh hay and water, as well as teamwork throughout the camp. It was fantastic to see our senior members encouraging and supporting our younger members every step of the way.

🐴 Our fantastic instructors – Carly, Dossie, Milly, Annette, Pauline, Rachael and Jane – for their endless patience, encouragement and expertise, helping every rider grow in confidence and develop their skills.

👏 Our amazing parents, for making sure members arrived each day ready to go and for lending a helping hand whenever it was needed.

🏇 Lindores Equestrian, for once again providing such fantastic facilities for our camp.

❤️ Our dedicated committee, who always go above and beyond behind the scenes. Your hard work, organisation and commitment make events like this possible, and we’re incredibly grateful. We really do have the best team!

Finally, thank you to all of our members for your enthusiasm, sportsmanship and smiles. We hope you headed home with wonderful memories, new friendships, increased confidence and lots of inspiration for the rest of the season.

Another fantastic Pony Club rally at Lindores on Thursday evening! ☀️🐴
Our riders enjoyed practising their jumping in the glorious Scottish sunshine, with everyone making great progress and building confidence over the fences.
After their riding lesson, a few members also took part in a horsemanship session with Milly, where they learned more about horse behaviour and how to better understand their equine partners.
A huge thank you to our wonderful instructors, Carly, Milly and Rachael, for another enjoyable and educational evening. 🌟
