Another sneak peak at a garden light I've been working on.

A modern take on a lantern.

Rechargeable (as always) and should last 24 hours or so. Olive green and white with a genuine leather handle and brass fittings. Remote control and a nice amount of light across the colour range.

Designed, 3D printed and assembled in my little workshop in Devizes.

Another new one!

I posted the USB powered ones a while ago. These are a mini version standing at 170mm tall with a battery tea light inside.

The caramel shade means you get a lovely warm glow and then you have the birch ply tripod stained with an oak colour.

I'll be dropping 3 off at Cositas Bonitas this morning at some point.

They're £8.50 each including a battery tea light.

A couple more lights added to the range of personalised lights for children.

These make perfect sense in a child's room. No more having to leave the landing light on with the door open. No more trips upstairs to get them settled. Just choose their favourite colour, turn the brightness down and let them drift off.

Better late than never!

I know, I know. The good weather is about to disappear and dump us back in the middle of winter but I've still been busy on designing garden lights anyway.

This one is quite neat. It mounts really easily with 2 screws in a back plate that the actual light just slides onto. It charges using a large solar panel. The photo here shows it in comparison with the sort of panel you're most likely to find when you buy cheap solar lights in garden centres, etc. I have one mounted on the fence in a very shaded part of our garden and, even from dead, it charged today.

BUT... you can also just pop the LED unit out from the wall mounted housing and charge it with a USB-C cable.

It works from dusk until dawn on a sensor, or you can use the included remote control to turn it on and off.

And on top of all that, the white diffuser is interchangeable and can be personalised. I now have 2 plain ones up in the back garden but I'm just printing another with our house number on for the front - great for when Just Eat are hunting for your house in the dark with your curry on a Saturday night. Through the summer, have a nice floral design. Maybe a pumpkin at Halloween, a snowman at Christmas and balloons at new year. The choice will be yours!

It's grown 3 legs!

Since I posted a few days ago about this new light, it's grown 3 more legs. 3 was good... 6 is definitely better.

With it's caramel diffuser and birch ply legs, this retro table lamp is fab (I designed it so I would say that!) and is the perfect source or cosy and warm ambient lighting that will work as a table lamp anywhere in your home or as a unique bedside light.

It's USB powered and uses the tiniest amount of power. It'll even run for many hours on a small power bank (not included) so you can put it anywhere; even if there are no sockets nearby.

It stands about 350mm tall and is all curves with the vase shaped diffuser and the wooden legs that hugs the profile of the diffuser all the way to the top.

Every picture tells a story!

Had an idea last night and hit the computer for another light featuring wood. The curve of the wood follows the shape of the diffuser before splaying out to make the legs for this neat USB powered table lamp.

This one is just a try out using birch plywood but I've got some solid mahogany sheets arriving to use for the final version.
