Redskyatnight Photography Local photographer specialising in family and childrens portraits Hi my name is Helen Shepherd and I am a photographer in North Northumberland.

My main area of interest is family and childrens portraits, focusing more on the natural aspect rather than the posed, although sometimes a staged photo can be just as effective. I also love photographing the beautiful countryside and wildlife that are on my doorstep my particular favourite, as you will soon notice, are the stunning Highland cattle. In everything I photograph I have fun with, I li

ke to form a bond with my subjects (maybe not the highlands as they're completely bonkers) to make everyone feel at ease. I have an absolutely beautiful young daughter of my own so I know all too well how stubbourn and unco-operative they can be, which is why I try and not put a time limit on my shoots so there is no pressure and help make it an enjoyable experience all round. I will turn my hand to anything from pet portraits to sunsets so feel free to give me a shout if you have anything you would like photographed. As I am just starting out my prices reflect this. I won't charge for my time and will only charge for any prints, framed images, canvassess etc you decide to purchase after your shoot. All images will be professionally printed. I am not advertising myself as a professional photographer but my promise is that I will always strive to give you a professional experience down to the smallest detail!

Ok so I'm seeing a lot of posts about how disappointed people have been with the their kid's school photos, not the photography or photographers, but the process of it all, prices and siblings not getting the opportunity to be photographed together so here is what I am offering, if there's enough interest and I can find a space suitable. If anyone would like their child/children photographed in their uniforms, please let me know. The offer will be as follows:

30 mins shoot for one child or
45 mins for two siblings (for larger families additional time can be arranged, PM for more info)
1 x A4 print (2 x A4 for two siblings)
2 x A5 prints
2 x Keyrings
Favourite images available to download digitally from your own private online gallery to do with as you please. Prices will be as follows:

Single child - £20
Two siblings - £25
Three or more children - PM for more info
If anyone has any idea of a suitable space that I can use/rent for a short period of time let me know and if there's enough interest I'll be in touch to arrange your session. Thank you!
