Mae Gŵyl Cariad Aber yn ôl yn 2027. Tair wythnos o gelf a digwyddiadau ledled Aberystwyth, o 23 Ionawr tan 14 Chwefror.
Ers lansio'r ŵyl yn 2025, rydyn ni wedi goleuo'r castell â phrojectionau, rhoi celf mewn arosfannau bysiau, a throi ffenestri siopau yn orielau ledled y dref.
Nawr rydyn ni wrthi'n cynllunio ar gyfer 2027, ac yn ystod y mis yma rydyn ni'n chwilio am noddwyr i helpu ni i wneud y cyfan yn bosibl.
Ydych chi'n nabod busnes fyddai â diddordeb mewn noddi'r ŵyl? Tagiwch nhw neu anfonwch neges atom. Bydden ni wrth ein bodd yn cael sgwrs.

Gŵyl Cariad Aber is coming back in 2027. Three weeks of art and events across Aberystwyth, 23 January to 14 February.
Since our 2025 pilot, we've lit up the castle with projections, put art on bus stops, and turned shop windows into a town-wide exhibition.
Now we're building towards 2027, and this month we're looking for sponsors to help get us there. Know a business who might want to back it? Tag them or send us a message. We'd love to talk.

Summer has only just begun, but we're already dreaming about February.

A couple of years ago, we asked: What if Aberystwyth had a Festival of Love?

Inspired by St Dwynwen's Day and running through to Valentine's Day, Gŵyl Cariad Aber was created as an artist-led celebration of love in all its forms. Love of people, language, creativity, community and place.

Since then, artists, musicians, writers, performers, businesses, schools, charities and community groups have helped shape the festival, bringing new ideas, stories and perspectives each time.

Now we're beginning to imagine Gŵyl Cariad Aber 2027.

As Aberystwyth prepares to celebrate its 750th anniversary, we're inviting artists, organisations, community groups, businesses and residents to help us create the next chapter.

Whether you have an idea for an exhibition, performance, workshop, conversation, walk, creative project or something completely unexpected, we'd love to hear from you.

After all, festivals aren't built in a weekend. They're built through conversations, collaborations and communities.

Comment below, send us a message, or get in touch if you'd like to be involved.

750 years of stories.

Time to create some new ones. ❤️

We haven't shared brilliant documentation from GCA25 enough, each pic is tagged with the shop and artist if you're curious.

Pan wyt ti’n oedolyn, gall gwneud ffrind newydd deimlo fel dawns. Weithiau mae arnom ofn pethau nad ydym yn eu hadnabod.
Doeddwn i ddim yn adnabod neb yn y Cylch Ti a Fi lleol lle cawsom goffi mewn cwpannau gwyrdd gyda soseri a chacen i nodi pen-blwydd pob plentyn. Wedi ychydig fisoedd, sylweddolais fod canu Pen-blwydd Hapus a’r un hwiangerddi dro ar ôl tro yn llunio synau newydd yn ein cegau, gan osod seiliau iaith gyfan. Un gaeaf, ar nos Lun, roedd yna wersi dawnsio neuadd ac fe lwyddais i a mam arall i berffeithio'r ‘cha cha cha’ gan ennyn cymeradwyaeth wresog. Cerddoriaeth, dawnsio a rhannu bwyd: dyma'r pethau sy'n ein helpu i fod gyda'n gilydd.
Gallant ddangos cyfeillgarwch ar draws ieithoedd a diwylliannau.

When you’re an adult, making a new friend can feel like a dance. Sometimes we are scared about things we don’t know. I didn’t know anyone at the local Ti a Fi where we were served coffee in green cups with saucers and cake to mark every toddler’s birthday. After a few months I realised that Pen-blwydd Hapus and the same nursery rhymes sung over and over again were shaping out new sounds in our mouths, laying down the foundations of an entire language. One winter, on Monday nights, there were ballroom lessons in the hall and me and another mum managed to perfect the cha cha cha to a round of applause. Music, dancing and sharing food: these are the things that help us to be together. They can show friendship across languages and cultures.
