Dancing Cranes. One day I would love to see these birds in Japan where they do this dance in the snow. I would like to visit Japan in general to be honest lol.
I like how the background of this can double as a sunset or the Japanese flag. The whole composition feels more ‘adult’ than the other watercolours I’ve been doing. Completely in love with this. Seems I have discovered a hidden talent of drawing birds. It’s all I want to do lately.

I just cant.. cuteness overload!!! I really wanted to create something cute as a kind of pallet cleanser for myself after a day staring at medieval manuscripts. Mission accomplished 😁
