This could be a corner of a room, a cushion, a garden, a park, or a sacred site. The idea is that the place itself holds calm energy and helps the mind drop into meditation more easily.
2. Energetic Spot (Body) - Sometimes
"meditation spot" refers to a focus point in the body or energy system. For example:
• The third eye (between the eyebrows) is often called a meditation spot in yoga and spiritual practices, as focusing there deepens awareness.
• The heart center is another common meditation spot, used for practices of compassion and presence.

This is what 1 year of alcohol free recovery looks like to me . In this year I reflect on what I've learned in it all and that it's my own responsibility to heal from people that have hurt me ( not to excuse there behavior) but to free myself from anger and sadness that only takes away my growth and healing journey. The most magical moment in my life was letting that go . People's opinions and nine of my business and to be honest I don't give a s**t . I learned that people pleasing is exhausting! That I do enjoy my own company , I don't care to be around people that are drinking ( no judgement whatsoever) just isn't what I like to spend my time doing anymore . I lost so much dead weight Mind , Body , Soul . I learned I do love myself and the person I'm becoming , that some friendships, relationships and people just arnt for me. I want to connect with real genuine authentic people that are open to growth in their own ways . I started new hobbies I never knew I enjoyed . My garden and therapy are my sanctuary, I protect my peace , I have a great relationship with all my kids . I've spent so much time in my healing journey and finally at the ripe age of 40 it has been the my best year yet so far . I've discover what I want to do as a career and help others in anyway I can . Currently taking my reiki ( healing energies) herbalism, Tea Ceremony Masters. I look forward to all the more years of what recovery has done for me . Peace out alcohol you will never see that ugly side of me again . Thank you all for being apart of the journey with me and all the support through it all and taking the time to read my posts it means alot 🩷

Yesterday I had one of the most releasing experiences of Chinese cupping . If you have never tried it before it's a must !!

Physical / Healing Meaning
Cupping is an ancient therapy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Middle Eastern medicine, and Indigenous healing.
• A cup is placed on the skin and suction is created (with fire or pumps).

Back Areas & Their Meanings
Upper Back (shoulders, upper spine, between shoulder blades)
• Physical: Neck and shoulder tension, lung issues, shallow breathing, stress load.
