Sadrock, c’est une idée simple : imaginer autre chose, ici. Une envie née d’un collectif, de parcours différents, mais d’un même attachement à ce territoire, à ceux qui l’habitent, à tout ce qu’il peut offrir.
Nous vivons une époque de tensions, de repli, de désenchantement. Ici comme ailleurs, les derniers scrutins ont résonné comme un électrochoc. Plutôt que de se résigner, nous avons choisi d’agir, d’ouvrir un espace. Un espace où l’on se croise, où l’on partage, où la culture devient un point de ralliement.
Sadrock, c’est aussi une réponse à une génération qui ne veut pas seulement observer le monde, mais y prendre part. Qui cherche des espaces où bâtir, où faire exister ses idées, ses émotions, sa créativité. Nous avons grandi avec la musique comme échappatoire, comme refuge, comme boussole. Nous voulons qu’elle soit ici un moyen de relier les fils, d’insuffler du sens, d’ouvrir d’autres horizons.
Nous ne voulons pas opposer, mais rassembler. Sadrock, c’est croire qu’un village de Corrèze peut vibrer à l’unisson d’un souffle venu d’ailleurs. Que l’on peut rêver grand sans renier ses racines.
Sadrock, ce n’est pas juste un festival. C’est un point de départ. Un prétexte pour tisser des liens, allumer des étincelles, et construire quelque chose qui nous dépasse.

Sadrock was born from a very a simple idea: to imagine something different, in the here and now.
It was inspired by a collective of individuals from various different backgrounds, but all with a shared appreciation of Limousin, its inhabitants, and everything this region has to offer.
We live in a time of tension, withdrawal, and disillusionment. Here, as in many other parts of the world, recent elections have felt like a wake-up call. Instead of succumbing, we have chosen to act and to create a platform; a space where people can unite and share, and where culture becomes a rallying point.
Sadrock provides an outlet to a generation which refuses to just sit back and observe the world—it wants to take part in it and change it for the better.
We grew up with music as an escape, a refuge, a guide. We want it to be a means of weaving connections, creating meaning, and broadening horizons.
We don’t want to divide, but to unite.
Sadrock is about believing that a village in Limousin can unite together to sing this universal language of songs that were once written further afield. That we can dream big without turning our back on our roots.
Sadrock is not just a festival.
It’s a starting point.
A pretext to create bonds, spark ideas, and build something bigger than ourselves.
