We travel the world,
capturing the beauty of blue through cyanotype photography... Photography and textiles are the main media of their creativity. "

The characteristic color of the cyanotype, Prussian blue, gave birth to the artistic duo Kyano. Born in Greece, Dora is a designer, driven by her curiosity and passion for all forms of art and craft expression. Her work flourishes in the creation of textile patterns, clothing collections and decorative objects. Charles is a French cinematographer and photographer, inspired by the light, textures and details found in nature. Together they travel, capturing nuances and hues, depth and magic of the sky.

Tearing, weaving, layering old cyanotypes and creating something completely new.

We love the idea of giving these old prints a second life, taking fragments that once felt like the end of a process and turning them into something unexpected, tactile and full of texture.

Each little piece carries a trace of its past, but together they become a new landscape, a new story. 💙

✨ Another piece from our Fragments of Light series 💙

This one is made from many cyanotype photographs printed on cotton fabric, which we carefully cut, layered and stitched together by hand.

We love how the different pieces come together almost like a little landscape — full of movement, texture, and unexpected details. What started as separate fragments has become something completely new. 💙

Framed in a natural wooden floating frame and ready to find its new home.

These artworks found new homes during our last exhibition in Paris, and we couldn’t be happier knowing that our work is now bringing a little more beauty into someone else’s home.

It’s such a special feeling to let these pieces go and imagine the stories they will become part of. ✨
