My mind doesn’t look for pretty things. It looks for resonance. It takes the rough, the overlooked, and the shadows of Paris, and forces them into textures.

To create is to transmute. What you call intense, I call clarity.

When you look at the architectural lines of Alaïa, Mugler’s radical volumes, or the theatrical, romantic drama of Galliano’s Dior, you realize how alive a single tone can be. It’s all about the friction, where a deep matte surface meets a heavy texture or a sudden flash of gloss. 

That’s exactly how I think when I forge patterns at Studio Forgé Paris. 
A surface shouldn’t just decorative; it needs to hold the room. It needs that raw, historical depth that makes an interior or a silhouette unforgettable.

A motif isn’t something I always plan out.

There is no clean geometry here. Just the repetitive, rhythmic motion of my hands, letting the chiaroscuro dictate where the paint lands. Deep emerald clashing against the rough, uneven layers of gold paste.

What starts as a chaotic, textured canvas ends up transforming a room. To me, that’s what alternative luxury is about, embracing the beautiful accidents and turning them into something refined.

It’s an elegance that doesn’t just sit there to be looked at. You feel it when you walk into the space.
