sa bawat titig mo’y may lihim na saysay,
tila ang puso ko’y muling nabibighani,
hindi ko man masabi nang tuwiran at lantad,
sa tahimik kong paraan, ikaw ang aking hari.

sa likod ng mga biro at simpleng ngiti,
naroon ang pag-asang di mo pa nahuhuli,
kahit di ko ipagsigawan ang aking damdamin,
sa mga kilos ko’y dama mong ikaw ang sinta ko’t giliw.

naniniwala ako sa tibay ng iyong pangarap,
at ako’y naririto, palihim na iyong lakas,
hindi kailangan ng mga salitang garbo o hiyaw,
sapat nang malaman mong sa’yo ako’y tapat.

i never thought the morning sun would feel warmer than my blanket,
but then you smiled at me once, and suddenly waking up felt easy.

the crowded halls stopped feeling loud,
because your laugh drowned out the noise.
it’s strange— how i’ve always counted strangers like shadows,
but when you’re near, you’re the only one i see.

i tell myself it’s nothing,
but every step i take, i'm hoping you’ll be just around the corner.
It’s been a long time
since love songs made sense,
but now they hum in my chest
like they’ve been waiting for you.

i can’t say this out loud,
so i leave it here in words that will never reach your hands.
and even if nothing happens, liking you will still
be my favorite part of the day.
